Email is the zero-setup channel: no bot chat, no webhook paste. The check interval still dominates latency — 5 minutes on Free, 1 minute on Pro. Pair email with Telegram when you need a phone ping you will actually see on drop day.

Are email domain drop alerts on the free plan?
Yes. Email, browser push, and Telegram are on every plan including Free (20 domains, 5-minute checks). Slack, Discord, and webhooks need Pro or Business.
How do Vacato email alerts work?
Email alerts use your account address and are on by default. When RDAP shows a watched name available, Vacato emails you alongside any other channels you enabled. You can toggle email under Integrations.
Email vs Telegram — which should I use?
Email is zero-setup and fine for low-urgency lists. Telegram is usually faster to notice on a phone. Many founders keep email on and add Telegram for names in active pending delete.
Does an email alert mean I get the domain?
No. An alert means the name looked available at check time. You still register at any registrar. Contested deletes can still disappear quickly.
